The third annual "Carve It Up" pumpkin carving contest will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.  ALL Central Academy faculty members and students are eligible to enter.

Faculty and students may enter solo or work with ONE OTHER PERSON and enter as a duo.  The entry fee is $5 per pumpkin.  This year we are also offering a $10 entry fee that INCLUDES A PUMPKIN.

Contestants may enter multiple pumpkins as long as an entry form and fee has been submitted for each pumpkin.

Entries will be judged during the school day on Tuesday, October 21 and winners will be announced that same evening at the spooky fall band concert. Cash prizes will be given to the winning pumpkin carvers at the concert.  A cash prize will also be given to the winner of the PEOPLE'S CHOICE award, which will be voted upon by the audience and announced at the concert as well.

Pumpkin entries may be carved or decorated with paint, marker, glitter, etc.  All entries are expected to be in good taste.  Judges reserve the right to disqualify any pumpkin entries that are vulgar, profane, or in poor taste.  Pumpkins should be easy to move without risk of damaging the creative design, as they will be on display during the band concert the evening of Tuesday, October 21.

Entry forms are available in the front office, band room, and in the cafeteria during lunches.

ALL ENTRY FEES AND FORMS ARE DUE
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16.
